Dr. Adam Cohen is a hematologist/oncologist who specializes in treating multiple myeloma patients at the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman Cancer Center. His research centers on immunotherapy for cancer, vaccines, cellular therapy, phase I trials, and Car T cells. He is also currently an assistant professor in the hematology/oncology division at the University of Pennsylvania’s Medical School
in Philadelphia.
Dr. Cohen is a member of the American Society for Blood and Marrow Transplant, The American Society of Hematology, the Multiple Myeloma Committee of the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group, and the Multiple Myeloma Panel of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network. He also completed a hematology/oncology fellowship, and was a research associate in the Laboratory of Tumor Immunology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
In addition, Dr. Cohen is an ad hoc reviewer for Annals of Oncology, Cytotherapy, Journal of Translational Medicine, Blood, Amyloid, and Clinical Cancer Research. He has written dozens of original articles, book chapters, and reviews on DNA vaccines, tumor immunity, multiple myeloma, amyloidosis, and stem cell transplant.
