Dr. Timothy Cloughesy

Timothy Cloughesy, MD is a neuro-oncologist at UCLA Health’s Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Cloughesy serves as Professor in and Director of the Department of Neurology, Neurological Services, and Neuro-Oncology Program. Dr. Cloughesy’s research focuses on clinical trials in brain cancer utilizing targeted molecular therapies. He has developed a brain cancer bioinformatics database, combining clinical outcomes, imaging, and molecular analysis to enhance research.

Dr. Coughesy received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine, completed a residency in Neurology at the UCLA School of Medicine, and completed a fellowship in Neurological Oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
